Obama coming back to schmooze with donors Sept. 9

Thumbnail image for obama-leno-file.jpgPresident Obama has planned a return to Los Angeles on September 9 for "an 'off the cuff' roundtable discussion with a small group of deep-pocketed Democratic donors," Tina Daunt reports at the Hollywood Reporter. No location has been disclosed as yet. That's a Monday so expect the usual flurry of lazy news stories and blog posts about traffic impact and Obamajams, whether there are any or not. (It's an LA thing.) Daunt says that invitations went out this afternoon "to a select group of major Democratic contributors." Some of the tickets will priced at $32,400 per guest, THR says.

Obama was just here in early August to appear on Jay Leno and meet Jeffrey Katzenberg for dinner at a hotel in Woodland Hills.
