Watching ice hockey on grass is expensive, I guess

DodgerStadium-kings-chart.jpgThe Kings and the NHL have announced the ticket prices and rink orientation for this area's first National Hockey League outdoor game since the 1940s — at Dodger Stadium this coming Jan. 25, between the Kings and the Ducks. It's a regular season game priced like a Stanley Cup playoffs (or World Series) game. For example: most of the reserved (or blue) level at Dodger Stadium is $249 per seat. The cheaper seats are actually down on the usual field level, where the action on the ice might be difficult to see. The lowest price seat in the place is $89. The highest: $279 around the entire loge level.

I wonder what they charged in 1943 to the see the Montreal Canadiens at the Tropical Ice Gardens in Westwood Village?
