Editor's note

Al Martinez is home recovering

By Kevin Roderick | May 5, 2014 1:03 AM

Thumbnail image for al-martinez-photo.jpgQuick note. Al Martinez has been missing from his LA Observed column (obviously) since February. Here's the message he posted Saturday on Facebook.

Finally home after almost 3 months in hospital and rehab: pneumonia, heart, bleeding ulcer, diabetes attack, etc. Almost died but declined god's invitation and here I am again and forever. Hang tough. More later.

Get well, Al.
