Al Martinez is home recovering

Quick note. Al Martinez has been missing from his LA Observed column (obviously) since February. Here's the message he posted Saturday on Facebook.

Finally home after almost 3 months in hospital and rehab: pneumonia, heart, bleeding ulcer, diabetes attack, etc. Almost died but declined god's invitation and here I am again and forever. Hang tough. More later.
