Obama coming back in July to raise money

obama-student4_mid.jpgPresident Barack Obama is scheduled to visit the Los Angeles area again on July 23 to speak at a Democratic National Committee fundraising reception and dinner. The event is scheduled at the home of television producer Shonda Rhimes. One of the co-chairs is Kerry Washington, star of the ABC drama “Scandal,” which Rhimes produces.

Tickets begin at $1,000, according to an invitation posted on the website, PoliticalPartyTime.org. It costs $10,000 to attend the reception and $32,400 to be a co- host and attend the dinner.
