I left LA for Chicago why?
It was dark and there was wine so excuse the quality of the photos, but peeking into the workshops of the furniture designers at the Frogtown Art Walk last night was fascinating.
Big rooms:
Full of cool stuff, like the tip of an airplane wing:
LOTS of tools. (Quote of the evening: "I want a forklift!)
And more clamps than I've ever seen, which makes sense when you check out that couch, made from thousands of tiny squares of wood.
