Double whammy

No matter how much I try to keep up with your submissions throughout the week, Monday is the day I always sit down, re-read everything, think about where each entry might take us down the road and decide which one advances our story in the best possible direction.

Sometimes it’s pretty easy to choose, sometimes it’s harder, and sometimes, like today, it’s impossible.

Because of all the submissions I received late last week, two of them stood out. Neither one felt exactly, on-the-nose, perfectly right, but both had elements that worked really well for what we’re doing. And the more I thought about picking either of them, the more I felt I would miss what the other has to offer.

So this week I’m declaring two winners. I’ll craft a synthesis of their pages and add them to our script by tomorrow night. Then I’ll introduce you to both contributing writers here on Wednesday.

Now if I can only figure out how to split up their t-shirt.
