LAPD watches animal rights group
The Daily News reported this morning that a militant animal rights group says it is being investigated by the LAPD's anti-terrorism unit. The Animal Defense League drew attention by posting the home address and phone number of Mayor Jim Hahn and the head of the city's animal services department on its web site and urging they be visited. The group also circulated fliers with the information. "The LAPD is aware of this and closely monitoring the situation," deputy mayor Matt Middlebrook told the paper.

So the LAPD can't be bothered with helping to enforce immigration law -- is there any greater factor affecting quality of life in the LA area than its skyrocketing population, due in large part to illegal immigration?, not to mention the crime committed by some of these people (do a search and check to ethnic makeup of the LAPD's 10 most wanted list, and while you're at it try to find an occasion where a white has been arrested for a drive-by shooting) -- but they get all worried about animal rights people.
Unbelievable.
