Producers and program hosts at KPFK, the Pacifica station at 90.7 FM, are getting phone calls informing them of new show times, curtailed hours and apparently some cancellations. It's the other shoe falling from the divisive political fights at the station in recent years. Those favoring more radical activism won, and part of the plan is to get more political, add shows on "people of plight and struggle" and increase the hours of Spanish-language broadcast. Shelf Life, the books show hosted by Marcos McPeek Villatoro, has been moved to noon Monday from 2 p.m. Other details to come.
