In the weeklies...

Since it's Thursday, here's a quick scan of the weekly papers...The LA Weekly looks at the state of liberty in America, updates the anti-trust action that arose over the closure of New Times Los Angeles, and offers four separate reviews of Liz Phair's new album. CityBEAT (and don't forget ValleyBEAT) have another story on the Rocketdyne toxic mess by Michael Collins and Sharon McKenna on the cover, and a Q&A interview with Warren Olney of KCRW inside. The Independent looks at the new city council and Tony Castro columnizes on Dennis Miller and his newfound love for George W. Bush.
