Recently I mentioned the Variety piece on Michael Viner, the somewhat controversial owner of Beverly Hills-based publisher New Millennium. There's a follow-up in the LAT today (picked up here on AP): a federal jury said he should pay $2.8 million in damages over some questionable business practices.
