Would you believe: Ueberroth?

Dan Weintraub at the Sacramento Bee reports that former baseball commissioner and Los Angeles Olympics chief Peter Ueberroth is now thinking of sliding into the recall race. Ok, that raises a question. Here's a guy who has accomplished a few things, in business and in public life. I can see why hardcore Republicans might be more excited about Schwarzenegger, even though he's not good on many of their issues -- he's a celeb who can win them the statehouse. But what is there about Arnold's politics or character or ability to lead that should entice any other voters? Lines recited or an image of toughness portrayed in a movie don't count, being fiction and all.
