Attn: Los Angeles magazine

New York magazine plans to start a blog and is apparently hiring Elizabeth Spiers of Gawker to help on that and write pieces for the magazine. At least that's what she says. In a post called "I Sell Out," she reveals:

New York Mag made me an offer and a few details have to be worked out, but it looks like I'm going to take it.

Hope for her sake she doesn't change her mind -- and you wonder if she blew any confidences with that post. In any case, she says Choire Sicha is the new editor of Gawker.
