Just how serious will Emmis Communications, owners of Los Angeles magazine and Power 106 radio here, be in the crowded derby to acquire New York magazine? Steve Cohn, editor-in-chief of Media Industry Newsletter, told Newsday that Emmis "makes the most sense" and predicts it will end up the buyer. But Keith J.
