The Aesthetic wonders, reasonably:

Something that has always puzzled us, particularly now that gas prices have gone through the roof, is why the price of gas isn't cheaper in El Segundo, Torrance and other parts of the South Bay that are directly in the shadow of giant polluting oil refineries.
