W's "Hollywood A-List"

The fashion monthly decrees the top poker game in town is the Gourmet Poker Club, which has met once a month for 25 years: Barry Diller, Steve Martin, Johnny Carson, Neil Simon, Chevy Chase, Carl Reiner, Dan Melnick and David Chassman. They meet at Melnick's or Martin's and wear baseball caps with the club's emblem. "It's become a pretty closed circle over time."

Some other L.A. bests, W-style:

Movie Star - Cameron Diaz, "bootylicious bankable beauty..."

Mogul - Brian Grazer, "Is it the hair?"

Seater - Tim Harris, the 42-year-old former pro soccer player who handles Lakers tickets for celebrities and decides who gets in at halftime to Staples Center's semi-secret Chairman's Room. "People go completely nuts about getting in there."

Money Man - Graham King, "one of the most enviable resumes in Hollywood."

Dressers - Angela Janklow Harrington of Dolce & Gabbana, Crystal Moffett-Lourd of Christian Dior, Sydney Ingle-Finch of Ungaro, and Jennifer Meyer of Ralph Lauren. "Style in their blood and access at their fingertips."

Hospital - Cedars-Sinai, "Hollywood's favorite."
