'Connected' gets scooped

Three hours before the new season of "California Connected" debuts on KCET-TV tomorrow night, KCRW will air the program -- in which Gov. Schwarzenegger and four living ex-governors discuss the state's problems -- on the radio at 89.9 FM. The show airs at 7 p.m. on KCRW and at 10 p.m. on the state's public television stations.

Did Ronald Reagan die? Isn't he a living ex-governor? It's silly to say that because he's not able to do a whole lot these days, but to say all four living ex-governors is wrong. Isn't it?

Good catch. Of course Reagan would make five. Yikes.

Caught it on TV last night. Very enjoyable and informative. Pete Wilson still seems angry about something. Jerry Brown had a good crack about today's reform being tomorrow's unintended consequence, but Deukmejian had a better one, saying that if it had been up to him and his fellow governors, they would have governed California as benevolent dictators. Not one of them seemed to have liked working with the state legislature!

Thanks Ian. I missed it.
