Press Club throws another book bash

It's Thursday night in West Hollywood. Here's the info:

WHO: Amy Alkon, Emmanuelle Richard, Cathy Seipp and the L.A. Press Club invite you to:

WHAT: A party for the new book "Hollywood, Interrupted: Insanity Chic in Babylon -- The Case Against Celebrity" (John Wiley & Sons, $27.95), by investigative entertainment journalist Mark Ebner and Andrew Breitbart, Matt Drudge's right-hand man.

WHEN: February 19, 6-9pm

WHERE: The glamorous Quixote Studios (Gate 1), 1011 N. Fuller Ave. in West Hollywood, between Romaine and Santa Monica Blvds. Food (complimentary hors d'oeuvres), drinks (cash bar, possibly subsidzed).

WHY: Because it's Oscars season! So what better time to celebrate a book that chronicles celebrity scandals like Robert Downey Jr's rehab problems, Heidi Fleiss's not-so-little-black book, Winona Ryder's shoplifting, River Phoenix's dysfunctional family, Frances Farmer's lobotomy (a classic!) and the continuing saga of Michael "Wacko Jacko" Jackson.
