Soldiering on for Martha

Don Aucoin at the Boston Globe has a little fun pondering who might inherit Martha Stewart's role as arbiter of taste. Paris Hilton, Donald Trump, and Carmelo Soprano are among his possibles, and he offers this take on E!'s Joan and Melissa Rivers:

So they don't share Martha's design aesthetic; where Martha evokes "Town and Country,'' Joan and Melissa go straight to tacky. But why should fashion-impaired stars be the only recipients of snarky advice? With them, a red carpet will be de rigueur in every home.
