Arianna the blogger gives back

On her new blog, Arianna Huffington pledges not to cash her $494.20 car tax refund but to turn it over to the California State University Foundation.

In order for me and millions of my fellow citizens to be given this refund, local governments will now have to make do without $1.3 billion. Which means that they are going to be forced to fire policemen, fire firefighters, and will be unable to repair roads and sidewalks. And let's not forget the approximately $100 million cut in higher education funding.

Her blog looks to be updated almost daily. It's carried on her redesigned site at Arianna Online.
