Drawing Franklin Hills

Carol Lay panelCarol Lay, whose comic "Way Lay" appears in papers all over the country, drew a strip on her Franklin Hills neighborhood recently. "Things I Love About My Neighborhood" features the Shakespeare Bridge, Skunk Hill, Walt Disney's home and the Griffith Observatory and should be a keeper for the area's fans. The print is not yet listed for sale on her amusing website, but many Lay originals are -- she's getting divorced and writes "without going into the whole sob story, I need to make some sales."
