What's up at Entertainment Today?

TextAn emailer says that publisher John Salazar is out and that the paper may not publish this week for the first time in 37 years. Stay tuned.

"Entertainment Today" Lives...

Salutations. Possible reports of the demise of "Entertainment Today" have been greatly exaggerated. There has been a change in management, and I wish I could say that it has been amicable and professional on all sides, but certain events and evidence have proven otherwise.

To wit, retroactive to earlier this week, publisher John Salazar and administrator Betty Salazar are no longer with "Entertainment Today." Any behavior or disseminated misinformation stating otherwise was at first just asinine but is now quite possibly criminal, and will be investigated and treated as such.

The remaining staff of "Entertainment Today" plans to continue producing the same entertaining, high quality, opinionated paper you’ve come to expect and enjoy. Naturally, if you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.

Best,
Interim Publisher: Brent Mosley
Editor in Chief: Brent Simon
Senior Editor: Aaron M. Fontana
Art Director: Wayne Thompson
Associate Editor: Ginny Zoraster

However the current issue is not to be found -- is that true? I haven't seen a new copy...I was told that you guys were not publishing this week...

nobody reads it anyway

Joe Shmo obviously does not know what he is talking about. Being that someone has noted that there was not an issue this week, you would think this an obvious clue that people do read Entertainment Today. If readership is in fact down, however, one would think that it has more to do with the overall decline in readership that has affected all printed press, not because of the quality of Entertainment Today.
Hopefully the recent, less-than-amicable departure of certain staff memebers will result in the improved quality of an already great publication.

thank you J.R.
I think we can all agree that ET is an excellent publication and obviously if joe schmo took the time to read it he would know that, but instead he makes uninformed, asinine comments. Come on, now, Joe, didn't you ever see BAMBI? I think we can all learn a little lesson from Thumper.
