Zocalo logoThere's a new summer and fall schedule for the free Public Square lecture series presented by Zócalo and co-sponsored by L.A. Observed. Next up, on July 6 at the Central Library's Mark Taper Auditorium, are the husband and wife journalists Amy Wilentz and Nick Goldberg. She is the author and and former New Yorker correspondent in Jerusalem, he is op-ed editor of the Los Angeles Times and former Middle Eastern Bureau Chief for New York Newsday. They will compare notes and share their sometimes clashing perspectives on Iraq, Israel, September 11, and the chances of peace in the Middle East. The event is free, but seating is limited; a reception follows.
