Cooked circulation numbers?

The Tribune Company is conducting an internal probe of circulation figures claimed by all of its newspapers, including the L.A. Times, after Newsday acknowledged that it inflated some numbers, the New York Post says. Tribune exec Tony Caputo, the company's vice president of auditing, is leading the probe.
