I've been busy the last couple of days helping judge entries in the Online News Association awards to be handed out next month. Perusing and discussing the examples of great work done in several countries over the past year is humbling. It also reminds me how much impressive journalism gets done on the Web, and it improves every year. Also this weekend: the West Hollywood Book Fair, Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in West Hollywood Park. It's the third year now, and the organizers say 170 authors will be participating. More info.
