Salmonella 90210

County health officials issued a salmonella alert Wednesday for the Il Fornaio on Beverly Drive, one block off Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Three diners became ill after eating contaminated food between July 12 and July 16. The alert was called to stop "the spread of salmonellosis between family members or from those whose occupation may expose others to the disease, such as food handlers, healthcare workers and child-care workers, and to remind people that all egg dishes need to be fully cooked," said Jonathan Fielding, public health director of Los Angeles County. This reminds me, it has been a long time since I've published the link to the county's online database of restaurant health ratings: here it is. By the way, Il Fornaio got an A on its last inspection March 30.
