Claude Brodesser did indeed join FishbowlLA this morning, as reported last week. The former Variety reporter looks like a nice addition to the lineup. He will help out regular fisheye Michael Sonnenschein on film and entertainment; Brodesser's first piece gives some context to the SAG election of Alan Rosenberg. And over at Defamer, Seth Abramovitch is sitting in for Mark Lisanti.

Sign-offs: Andrew Gumbel just finished up a guest stint for Marc Cooper, and Karen Palmer wrapped up the same at The Elegant Variation. Also, BoifromTroy did the honors last week at Gridskipper, the Gawker Media travel blog.
