Blame the Zamboni

Channels 2 and 9 are out with a discovery by David Goldstein that carbon monoxide levels are high at several Southern California ice rinks. Propane-powered ice resurfacers—some made by the Zamboni Company in Paramount—are the culprit. The highest measurement reported in the station's story was at the Glacial Gardens Ice Arena in Anaheim.

Also now at CBS2.com:
17 more inmates injured at the North County Correctional Facility.
210 freeway traffic collisions between midnight and 7 am—usually 35.
