He dared not

creditSheriff Lee Baca has postponed his interview on Talk of the City for at least a day. As I sort of suspected he would this morning. Supposedly he'll make it on tomorrow's show on KPCC. Most local media are reporting today on the ninth day of racial rioting in Baca's jails.

Meanwhile, LAPD officers this morning shot and killed a domestic dispute suspect in Wilmington. Two officers suffered bites on their hands and arms from the man, who the cops say tried to grab their handguns. The officers are at a hospital for treatment.
