The Times' website was choking on today's stories when I put together the Morning Buzz. Here's what I would have picked up had the site been working:

♦ Dodgers pitcher Derek Lowe confirms that he's taking Adderall for ADD. It's a banned drug but Lowe received an exemption from major league baseball. Ron Fineman is credited. No mention of the other issues.
♦ First day of the Dowie-Stodder trial.
♦ EAA vs. the mayor.
♦ Lawry's improperly discriminates against men, the U.S. says in a suit filed in federal court.
