• Joe Scott on the closeness of Tuesday's Democratic primary for governor, with Steve Westly and Phil Angelides in a dead heat for polling purposes and 26% of Democrats undecided: "In the Field Poll’s 60-year history, there has never been as large a proportion of voters undecided so close to the election in a top-of-the-ticket major party primary."
• Speaking of, Westly gets the last word on Warren Olney's Which Way, L.A.? this evening at 7 pm on KCRW. Angelides was on last week.
• David Markland at blogging.la is, quite admirably, pulling together information on the candidates you are least likely to know anything about when you vote tomorrow: the men and women running for judge.
• LA Weekly led with six finalists in the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies awards to be announced June 16. Pasadena Weekly and OC Weekly have two finalists, and the Ventura County Reporter one. Full list.
