On board the neon cruise

CruiseThanks to everyone who joined Saturday night's anniversary Neon Cruise with LA Observed. The bus was full and boisterous, and a fun time was had by all. Part of the fun was cruising Hollywood Boulevard atop a double-decker with other Angelenos and gawking at tourists—total role reversal. I enjoyed meeting several longtime readers, the Museum of Neon Art got to show off its collection to new fans and our guide Eric Lynxwiler was on. He even mixed in a little blue material with the architecture and history. If you missed it, MONA runs cruises on Saturday nights all summer. We may get together another LAO group if there's interest. Photo after the jump.
