New DN blogs

GarzaMariel Garza has moved her observations about riding the bus from her personal blog onto a sanctioned Daily News spot. Steve Rosenberg, a copy editor on the Daily News features desk, also has launched Come On, Feel the Nuys: "I do live in Van Nuys, and I do work for the Daily News, where I'm ensconsed on the Features Copy Desk, know way too much about Brangelina, Tomkat and Joe Pass, and inhale coffee like it's the air I breathe. I'd eat another orange, but I'm too tired to peel it. So look here for the skinny and the fat on Van Nuys, the San Fernando Valley and beyond." (There are a few other blogs that Valleyistas can check too, beginning here.) Other relatively new blogs under the Daily News "Inside SoCal" domain include sports columnist Tom Hoffarth's, Brian Dohn on training for a marathon, and a World Cup blog by Scott French that as yet is inactive. Uh, he might want to check the calendar and get it together.
