Declaring themselves 'hot'
When you are promoting a new business, I guess you can write anything you wish. In the promo material on the web for Tripmates, an online service that launched here this month, founders Sam Rogoway and Emily Dahlberg are described as "Los Angeles’ hottest under 30 power couple." If they survive the snickers over that, the idea looks promising: an "interactive travel community" that matches travelers with others going the same place and with fresh reviews of hotels, clubs etc. He is a former entertainment lawyer, she an ex-Hollywood publicist.
