MuralDrivers on the northbound 110 Freeway downtown have watched the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra players depicted in Kent Twitchell's mural "Harbor Freeway Overture" gradually disappear behind a shroud of tree branches. (Click to see how it is supposed to look.) Now comes word via KCRW that the trees are going to be trimmed. I'm told that Twitchell's attorney announced it on last week's "Politics of Culture," hosted by Jonathan Kirsch. Audio.
