Villaraigosa

Art of the photo op

creditMayor Villaraigosa met the school board's admiral today, and both came out saying the right things. "We have the same vision….This is going to be a great partnership," LAUSD superintendent-to-be David Brewer told the post-game news conference at City Hall. Villaraigosa agreed: "I like what I see. I couldn't be happier.… He's the right guy for the job." Ok Ok, but check out the photo. This is the first picture I've seen of the mayor's third-floor inner sanctum since Villaraigosa moved in. I've been meaning to describe the office, since he has changed Jim Hahn's decor a bit, but now you can see for yourselves. Fuller size after the jump, along with a closeup of the protagonists smiling. (Times story and video)
