AdThis weekend — apparently for the first time ever — both L.A. pro football teams play in the Bay Area on the same day: USC at Stanford and UCLA at Berkeley. This means thousands of fans will stuff their way onto shuttle flights, caravan up I-5 (watch out, Harris Ranch) and party hearty in North Beach. So concerned are officials at the four schools that they signed a joint statement more or less begging everyone to be on their best behavior during the confluence. Today's ad in the Daily Bruin asks students to "set a positive example both in and out of the stadiums; show respect for yourself, your team and your university; set a positive example for others; [and] cheer your hearts out." Now party on, dudes and dudettes.

Also in today's Daily Bruin: Students for a Coke-Free Campus has gotten the university to consider kicking Coca-Cola off campus over alleged human rights abuses...Theta Chi spent $3,000 to build a wooden pirate ship and waterfall for its latest frat party.

In the Daily Trojan:
Students are angry about being forced to take classes in downtown Los Angeles...Trojans still have Rose Bowl hopes.
