  • Daily Trojan saga comes to a head: Jeremy Beecher, an ally of editor-in-exile Zach Fox, was elected editor for the spring, apparently with the understanding that he will run things day-to-day while Fox works on reforms at the paper. Irish Trojan's Blog

  • Dean Singleton's m.o. in the Bay Area: staffers at the San Jose Mercury have been told to stay home Dec. 5 between 8 am and 10 am to wait for a phone call that will tell them they either have a job or they don't. Next week the Daily Breeze finds out if he's the new owner.
