Cathy Seipp's public battle with lung cancer ended at 2:05 this afternoon. She was surrounded by family members and friends when she died at Cedars-Sinai. The Times' online obituary quotes friends Sandra Tsing Loh and Allan Mayer, as well as Kathryn Jean Lopez, editor of National Review Online, where Seipp wrote the From the Left Coast column.
