Also in magazines: Portfolio threw its L.A. launch party last night at Boulevard 3 in Hollywood, and despite the presence of editor in chief Joanne Lipman and publishing director David Carey, and the Conde Nast name, the turnout was on the light side. There was a big environmental soiree on the Westside that may have divided some loyalties.
