There has been at least one home heavily damaged and roof fires are reported on others along North Beverly Drive in the Franklin Canyon area above Beverly Hills, where a brush fire began after 1 pm. Fifteen acres have been scorched there, and 150 firefighters are on the scene. More brush is burning on Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale and in Brea. NBC 4
