Monty's Pasadena to close
One of the last Monty's steakhouses is closing after 66 years with just a week's notice to employees. The sale closed early, says the management. The site on Fair Oaks may become medical offices. The only other Monty's left that I know about is on Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Woodland Hills, and it has its fans despite being (to me) laughably overpriced. More on the closure.
