New Angeles arrives

CoverThe free monthly from Southland Publishing (CityBeat, Pasadena Weekly) is "devoted to the revival of Downtown and the 'New' Eastside." Inside New Angeles are an interview of historian Mike Davis by Ken Layne plus some music and arts features and a piece on the CRA's desire to make Washington Boulevard more pedestrian friendly. Here are the welcome notes from editor Nikki Bazar and publisher Charles Gerencser. There's a launch party next week at Bordello.
