That Valley sense of style

House of marbleAndrew at Here in Van Nuys blogs about a home in Studio City where the front exterior has been completely sheathed in 16-by-16 inch marble squares. It strikes him like a giant bathroom, and I love commenter Craig's reaction: "oh... my... god...What a waste of what looks like travertine. With vinyl windows? What were these people thinking?"
