The August issue of Los Angeles is the annual Best of LA theme job. This time 196 is the magic number, don't ask me why. The picks go from best gastropub and beach camping to the best bike mechanic and secret tennis court. *And: Mark Lacter has a piece on the future of cruise ships at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro.
