Movie Issue returns at Los Angeles

CoverLos Angeles does its annual movie issue for February, with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Julie Christie on the cover and a lineup inside that includes LA Observed's Mark Lacter challenging the notion that Hollywood is an indispensable part of the local economy, strike or no strike. "Frankly, Hollywood’s importance is way oversold – always has been," he writes at LA Biz Observed, a position backed up in the piece.
