Dan Becker, the Los Angeles-based director of entertainment content for Associated Press, announced a couple of moves as part of the wire service turning up its entertainment coverage:

The Los Angeles office welcomes Josh Dickey and Derrik Lang this month. Dickey will take a leading role as the West Coast Deputy Entertainment Editor. Lang will begin his new role as an Entertainment Writer focusing on the celebrity scene.

Dickey and Lang previously were in AP Entertainment in New York.
