The Los Angeles Press Club's "national entertainment awards" are new and mostly local. Winners include Matthew Garrahan of the local Financial Times bureau for best print news story, Jacob Soboroff of Why Tuesday? for best TV news story, Darby Maloney and Matt Holzman of KCRW's "The Business" for best radio news piece, Nikki Finke for best online story and Matthew Belloni of Esquire for best print feature. Critic awards went to Ella Taylor of the LA Weekly, Joe Morgenstern of KCRW and Finke. Whole list here.
