Northern Illinois alumni meet here tonight
By coincidence, an alumni group from the campus where a gunman killed five students and wounded sixteen others is having an event tonight at the Sheraton Delfina in Santa Monica.
Join the academic colleges, the NIU Foundation, and the NIU Alumni Association of Northern Illinois University for an engaging evening in celebration of Northern Illinois University. The theme of the evening is "True North - Stories of NIU" featuring students, faculty, alumni, and live musical entertainment.
Assignment editors, the website says 7 pm.
