Lakers stumble in San Antonio

Spurs win 103-84, making the series 2-1 in favor of the Lakers. If you're San Antonio, you have to think, hmm, twice we've built up 20-point leads on these guys. ESPN, LAT

Meanwhile: Clayton Kershaw gave up two runs and five hits over six innings in his first start for the Dodgers at age 20, getting his first three outs on strikeouts (seven K's overall.) He also gave up an RBI double in the first inning to Albert Pujols, and there's no shame in that. Kershaw went 102 pitches then left without a decision. The Dodgers won 4-3 in 10 innings, and journeyman Luis Maza hit his first major league home run. DodgerThoughts charts every pitch and gets 700+ comments. Sports Hub LA, MLB, LAT
