Back in 1988, Pete Handelman shot some High-8 video asking ordinary people in Boston who was going to win that year's finals: Celtics or Lakers? It became moot when Detroit knocked out the Celtics, but he didn't throw away the footage. This week, Handelman asked Angelenos in Downtown the same question. The 2008 answers are below, and the 1988 version is here. Handelman also has up a 4:45 video where he plays sixteen characters from The Wire, a similar one-man takeoff on Grey's Anatomy, and blogs at Pedro's Sports Shorts.
